This study evaluates the effects of pelleting a forage-based diet on rumen health, fiber digestibilityGlossaryView allDigestibility
Capacity to be digested (difference between intake and fecal output), in % and animal performance. The results suggest that a pelleted diet formulated to provide a sufficient level of neutral detergent fiber (NDF) could be fed to growing ruminants without negative effects on rumen health and animal productivity.
