Title of the scientific publication: “Importance of NDF digestibilityGlossaryView allDigestibility
Capacity to be digested (difference between intake and fecal output), in % of whole crop maize silage for dry matter intake and milk production in dairy cows”
A + 0.01 increase in the coefficient of maize silage NDF digestibility improved daily milk yield with 82 g and daily weight gain with 12 g: results of a large-scale meta-analysis (29 experiments with 96 dietary treatments) confirming the impact of NDF digestibility on dairy cow performance.
